Tai Chi

Taiji, also sometimes written as Tai Chi, is an ancient form of meditative exercise that is practiced by 20% of the world’s population.  It is an exercise for both the mind and body.  It is an art that teaches self-awareness.  There is no age limit for the practice of Taiji; anyone, anywhere at any time, and in virtually any state of health can enjoy the benefits of Taiji practice.  It is a very safe exercise program that is low impact and requires no special equipment.  It  can be done standing, sitting, lying down, or even in a wheelchair.  Taiji can be a lifelong study with rewards proportional to the time and effort that the practitioner puts into it.

The Jiu Long Pai Taiji Quan method is based primarily on the Yang Family Taiji Quan.  The curriculum includes, but is not limited to, several short and long empty-hand sets, Taiji Saber, Straight Sword, Fan, and pushing hands.
