Jiu Long Pai Tai Ji Quan
The Nine Dragon Academy offers the perfect environment for learning Tai Chi. Tai Chi (Tàijí 太極) is an ancient form of meditative exercise that is practiced by 20% of the world’s population. There are many benefits to practicing Tai Chi including relaxation, stress reduction, improved circulation and improved mobility. This form of moving meditation teaches self-awareness, engaging both the body and the mind. Tai Chi practice is low impact and requires no special equipment making it accessible to all ages regardless of their state of health. Tai Chi may be practiced while standing, sitting, lying down or even in a wheelchair. Practicing is very rewarding as you accumulate the many benefits that Tai Chi has to offer.
Your study of Tai Chi at the Nine Dragon Academy includes instruction in the following areas:

The Jiu Long Pai Tai Ji Quan method is based on Yang Family Tai Ji Quan and influenced by Wudang Daoist Tai Ji practice. Our instructors create a relaxed atmosphere ideal for practicing Tai Chi. Each student receives individualized attention to address the unique concerns of each student. The Nine Dragon Academy strives to give each student the instruction necessary to realize all of the benefits that Tai Chi practice has to offer.
This curriculum is recommended for all ages with classes being offered on Sundays from 11:30am – 12:30am.
