Exciting Partnership with the St. Louis Chinese Academy

August 22, 2009 — Shifu Matt Talbert

The Nine Dragon Academy is proud to announce that we will be working with the St. Louis Chinese Academy to provide their students with Instruction in Jiu Long Pai Kung Fu. The St. Louis Chinese Academy is a non-profit organization with the objectives of teaching Chinese language, promoting Chinese culture and providing related services to the general public. They offer language classes for children and adults for both native speakers and those that would like to pursue learning Mandarin Chinese as a second language.  Classes are on Sunday from 1:30pm – 3:30pm with extra curricular activities from 3:30pm – 4:20pm.

We are very pleased to be offering Jiu Long Pai Kung Fu as an extra curricular activity for students of the St. Louis Chinese Academy.  The practice of Kung Fu is a very important cultural tradition in China and provides many benefits to it’s practitioners such as good health, determination, perseverance, discipline, respect and practical self defense.

We at the Nine Dragon Academy are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship between our two organizations.  The partnerships that develop between organizations that have the same goals and vision can be very powerful in making a positive impact on the community.  If you are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese and learning more about Chinese Culture, please visit the St. Louis Chinese Academy Website.
