San Da means “Free-Strike” and is an ancient event traditionally practiced at the temples of Shaolin, Wudang, and Omei. It was a full contact, free-form exercise used to test and improve a student’s application of martial techniques, as well as hardening the their minds and bodies to combat. San Da specializes in short to mid-range fighting. It evolved into the modern sport of San Shou which translates to “Free-Hand.”
Training will include: History of SanDa, proper footwork, offensive hand & leg striking techniques, defensive techniques, take downs, the psychology of combat, and much more!
Open to all styles & levels of experience.
